Groundbreaking Software Transforms Web Development for Marketing Companies

Groundbreaking new software, developed by one of the UK’s leading internet companies, is helping media agencies to transform the way websites are designed and built.

The North East’s longest established web development company, Geo-net Solutions, has launched Geo-XPRES, new website publishing and content management software aimed at marketing and advertising agencies.

Geo-XPRES is a software tool designed for media agencies and existing web designers whose core skills are predominantly in marketing strategy, design presentation and communication. In removing the technical obstacles to allow the design of effective websites, Geo-XPRES does not sacrifice the creative freedom and quality output that design-led agencies insist upon.

To coincide with the launch, Geo-net Solutions received the backing of one of the North East’s leading marketing and design agencies who ate starting to roll out its software.

Charles Hollywood Advertising is the first commercial agency in the UK to sign a partnership agreement for the new Geo-XPRES which means that the marketing agency will now use the system as the platform for all website projects.  It will not only provide the ‘backend’ technology for the agency’s graphic designers but also the content management system which their clients will use to update their websites.

Geo-net Solutions chose to launch Geo-XPRES at the world famous Aston Workshop in County Durham. Aston Martin cars were used as the backdrop for the launch of Geo-XPRES to symbolise the speed, efficiency and superior quality of the new software.

Director of Geo-net, Antony Lewis, explained: “As Charles Hollywood Advertising has identified, Geo-XPRES is extremely fast and superior to its competitors – just like an Aston Martin. The alternatives all sacrifice quality, and therefore reliability, to achieve very small short-term gains.”

Charles Hollywood Advertising is this year celebrating twenty eight years in business and works with companies including Sainsbury’s, PayPoint, Netto & Mills Group.

Managing Director, Terry Kneeshaw, commented: “Our clients are now demanding increasingly sophisticated web applications as well as total compliance with W3c guidelines.

“We clearly needed a system which would remove the inconsistencies of hand coding HTML and the resulting risk and unknowingly producing non-compliant pages for our clients.  We conduced a great deal of research into various web publishing and content management systems on the market before settling on Geo-XPRES.  There are only a couple of systems on the market with the same feature-set, quality control and flexibility but Geo-XPRES was both quicker and more cost-effective.”
